- Archbishop Odutemu was born on May 2, 1972 at a crusade ground during the evangelical exploits of the late popular evangelist, Adam Igbudu.
- Archbishop Odutemu was ordained into the holy order of priesthood in 1998.
- Until his recent election as Archbishop, he is the Bishop of Diocese of Ughelli.
- The Ughelli bishop was consecrated on 12th of September, 2010 by the former Primate of All Nigeria, Most Revd. Nicholas D. Okoh along with other Bishops of the Church of Nigeria.
- He succeeded Rt. Rev. Vincent Muoghereh.
- Archbishop Odutemu is a charismatic preacher and prayer warrior with a doctorate degree and a former military officer.
- He was consecrated bishop at the age of 38, making him one of the youngest priest to be elected bishop of the Anglican Church of Nigeria.
- Odutemu would be the first Urhobo man to be elected to the exalted office in the Anglican Church.
- He was elected Archbishop to succeed His Grace, the Most Revd Friday Imakhai who retired as the bishop of Esan Diocese and Archbishop of Bendel in 2020.
- Odutemu was re- elected as Archbishop of Bendel for another 5 years at the episcopal conference held at Nike Diocese on July 11th 2025.
- He will be expected to preside as the internal provincial Archbishop of Bendel overseeing the Dioceses in Edo and Delta States.
- He is being presented as the Archbishop for a second and last term for another 5 years today at the ongoing Standing Committee meeting of the Church of Nigeria holding at the Cathedral Church of Emmanuel, Adó-Èkìtì, Èkìtì State.
