to study the courage of Jesus Christ on his way to the cross and
to impart the same courage on all pilgrims to the kingdom of God.
*Introduction*
Courage simply means the mental or moral strength to persevere and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. It is also an ability to move on even when others are falling aside. In our Text, we see Jesus Christ revealing his tragic end in Jerusalem to his disciples. What a dangerous path he foresaw, but yet was ready and bold to venture into the path. Peter’s discouragement has no place in the heart of our courageous saviour to move on in his mission to redeem the world on the cross of Calvary.

The heavenly path is rough, narrow and full of dangers, intimidations, persecutions and frustration.
