Rt. Rev. Enoch Atuboyedia, the Diocesan Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Okrika, has reaffirmed the power of faith, calling on believers to remain steadfast in their trust in God. Speaking at his Enthronement Anniversary Thanksgiving Service at All Souls Anglican Church, Osuo-Ogu, Abuloma, Port Harcourt, he emphasized the importance of unwavering confidence in divine intervention.
During his sermon, Bishop Atuboyedia urged the congregation to place complete trust in God, declaring that no weapon formed against His people would prosper. He stressed that faith unlocks divine intervention and assured that God always comes through at the appointed time for those who rely on Him.
Citing biblical references, the Bishop recalled the story of the rich young man who sought Jesus but left disappointed because his heart was set on material wealth rather than on God. He also referenced Balak and Balaam, reminding the church that the Israelites could not be cursed because of God’s abiding presence.
“With God, all things are possible,” Bishop Atuboyedia proclaimed, encouraging Christians never to be intimidated or discouraged, as God’s presence assures victory in every situation.
The thanksgiving service was a vibrant celebration of faith, marked by heartfelt gratitude, praise, and prayers, as the congregation rejoiced in the Bishop’s journey of faith and leadership.
