In a heartfelt tribute, President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the family of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who recently passed away in the United Kingdom.

A statement from Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, on Saturday described Ubah as a prominent businessman and politician. Before his death, Ubah served as the representative for the Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

The statement noted, “President Tinubu conveys his deepest sympathies to the friends, colleagues, and the National Assembly, as well as to the government and people of Anambra State. He prays for the peaceful repose of Senator Ubah’s soul and offers strength and comfort to his family during this difficult time.”

Ubah’s death follows closely on the heels of the passing of Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, who died on Thursday at the age of 82 after a short illness.
