SeeThe Hon. Okoh Israel Ugochukwu begin his first tour as the Honourable Member Representing Aniocha South Constituency in the Delta State Youth Parliament with an Educational Sensitization visit to Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State on Wednesday 11th of November, 2020 and was accompanied by his lovely wife, Harriet Okoh. Also with him are Rt. Hon. Obuseh Gloria, Deputy Speaker, Delta State Youth Parliament, Hon. Obijanake Caleb, Deputy Minority Leader, Hon Uche, Councilor ward 4, Comrade Ephraim Okoh, Agbonta Umu-Ozoma, Youth President of Ubulu-Uku, Comrade Akpu Daniel, CEO Gold Mastermind Enterprise, Comrade Dumbiri Shadrack Ugochukwu, Academia and Media Aide to Honourable Okoh Israel Ugochukwu, Okoh Precious, sister to the Honourable and some members of his Media Team.
The honourable and his colleagues paid a visit to three different schools in the local government precisely Ifite Secondary School in Isheagwu, Isho Mixed Secondary School in Ubulu-Uku and Nshiagu College in Ogwashi-Uku. There he had brief talks with the students on the importance of education highlighting that education is still the key to success. He also out of his generosity supported the students with some writing materials to foster education having felt that the pandemic must have affected students negatively in terms of following up studies and parents providing necessities for their children, so the Honourable in his little way supported the students.
In appreciation, the students in the various schools gave a vote of thanks to the Honourable through the senior prefect of the schools. Telling him they are very grateful for his kind gesture and they pray God to bless him to do more for them and also appreciated the lecture on the importance of education to the youths. They also promised to focus on their studies and also to be a good citizen.
