Today, we pause to celebrate a monumental milestone in the life of a spiritual giant, a meticulous scholar, a father Indeed and a fearless defender of the Christian faith.

As The Most Rev. Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba marks his 65th birthday, we honor a journey defined not by the pursuit of titles, but by an unwavering obedience to the Cross.

From the quiet, dusty mission fields of Gombe to the global leadership stage of the Anglican Communion, His Grace has exemplified what it means to lead with the heart of a shepherd and the courage of a prophet.

The Crucible: The Heart of a Missionary

Long before he wore the purple robes of the Primacy, Henry Ndukuba was a man comfortable in the trenches of rural evangelism. We celebrate his legendary 20-year labor of love in the Gombe Diocese, where he proved that true leadership is measured by growth and sacrifice.

He served not as a title holder, comfortable boss or arrived fellow but as a true mission leader combing through the dusts, hills, waters, and mud in search of souls for Christ.

He is a Shepherd who speaks the People’s Language: He didn’t just preach from afar; he spearheaded the translation of the Scriptures into 10 local minority languages, ensuring that the marginalized felt seen, could also study God’s word and be heard by God.

The Gombe Miracle: Under his hands-on leadership, a fragile network of 18 congregations exploded into more than 150 vibrant, self-sustaining churches.

In Gombe, he didn’t just inherit a diocese—he built one from the soil up, proving that to speak and to grow a people’s soul, you must first speak their language and lead with compassion.

He taught many Christian leaders that the gospel thrives not in comfort, but on the frontier.

Enthroned as the 5th Primate of All Nigeria at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Abuja, directly at the dawn of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

March 2020. The world stands paralyzed by a pandemic, and the Church of Nigeria undergoes a massive transition of power. Primate Ndukuba assumes office not with a celebration, but with a sober recognition of cultural decay. His domestic response? An aggressive pivot to the youth. Under his ‘Decade of God’s Reign,’ he reatrategised the traditional stilted structures to mobilize a generation the modern world assumed was lost.

The very first person in the Bible explicitly described as being “filled with the Spirit of God” was not a priest, a king, or a prophet. He was a creative named Bezalel.

God anointed an artisan to build the Tabernacle because the physical space where people encountered His presence needed to be crafted with absolute excellence. Your technical skills — your eye for framing, your ear for frequencies, your knack for storytelling — require spiritual anointing. God cares about the beauty, the execution, and the details of your craft just as much as He did in the wilderness of Sinai.

Soul-Penetrating Content Creation
We are not just producing content to fill a social media feed or satisfy an algorithm; we are propagating the Gospel. Our tools are digital, but our impact is eternal.

When we create with excellence, we create a gateway for the Holy Spirit to move. While many may not know, for over 3 decades, there exists this crack in the ranks of the Church with the introduction of hereticism and disorder, which has now blown this crack into a wide door. This crack is the introduction of sexuality disorder into the doctrines of the Church. This disorder includes of blessing same sex partners, ordination of persons practising same sex and so on.

This anomaly has happened and is still happening in various Church denominations (Anglican, Roman Catholic, Methodist, and many more), across the world, with the evil backing of Western governments.

While this disorder involves both external (government) and internal (Church) agents, it has indeed stirred up the fact that the Bible remains true regarding end times happenings.

The Bible predicted there would be “false teachers among you” and that those who follow their depraved conduct “will bring the way of truth into disrepute” (2 Peter 2:1-2).

In fact, Jesus Himself judged the church in Thyatira and their tolerance of a woman who “misleads my servants into sexual immorality” (Revelation 2:20).

Debates over same-sex relationships, blessings, marriages, and the ordination of LGBTQ clergy, have been at the forefront of division for decades. While many Church provinces condemn same-sex unions as sinful, others view opposition to LGBTQ inclusion as unjust and exclusionary.

The question remains, WHAT WAS THE MIND OF GOD?

First, God created Man and Woman and all animals, male and female. Hence, God’s plan was not for same-sexes to cohabit for sexual relationships.

The Anglican Church in Wales, on the 30th of July 2025, appointed an Archbishop who is openly living in defiance of Christian teaching.

Andrea Williams, Chief Executive of Christian Concern, comments: “Cherry Vann lives with her civil partner, Wendy, in a same-sex relationship. This directly contradicts the Church’s historic and biblical doctrine that marriage is the lifelong union of one man and one woman, and that sexual relationships are reserved for marriage.

“As an ordained minister and bishop, Cherry Vann has sworn to uphold the teaching of the Church. Instead, she is publicly living in deliberate rejection of those very doctrines.

“That she was elected with a two-thirds majority of the Electoral College demonstrates that the Church in Wales has now institutionally turned away from biblical teaching on sexual morality.

We must confront serious errors that compromise God’s glorious and authoritative word on human sexuality.

The question again is: what is a church if it refuses to uphold the doctrines it professes to believe and preach? Why are we trying to rewrite the Bible handed to us by the great Fathers of old?

I believe that “God will judge His Church for abandoning the gospel. As James reminds us, those who teach will be judged more strictly (James 3:1). I hope all ministers still have this in their Bible and mind.

The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Henry Ndukuba, noted in his response to this development that the story of Bishop Vann reminds us of the sad tenure of The Most Rev. Katherine Jefferts Schori, the 26th Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church in the United States (2006-2015), under whose tenure faithful Anglicans in the United States of America suffered severe persecution and opposition.

He added that it is a signal that some sections of the global Church have resolved to abandon the truth of God’s word by sacrificing the authority of the Scripture for a postmodern agenda that has no divine backing.

“Today, enemies of the Christian faith are collaborating, employing a combination of instruments of secularism, communism, Islam, paganism, liberal theology, syncretism and biblical revisionism, to perpetrate the decline of Christianity in many parts of the world.”

While the matter has been on the front burner for a long time, it seems that many more are being recruited to join this nightmare, and believe in the strange doctrine. And what is at stake in this is:
● salvation of the souls of men, biblical ethics,
● identity of the Church globally,
● impairment of the credibility to do missions and evangelism, and
● salvaging the very soul of the Authority of the word of God.

We have come to the point where a clarion call must be sounded: ‘Who is on the Lord’s side?’ Like the early Church Apologists and Martyrs of old, faithful church believers must reject heretics and apostates from our midst, strive to redeem our holy scriptures, defend our historic creeds, uphold our Articles of Faith and Catechism, and expel the ‘wolves amongst the sheep.’

We must stand again against the relentless pressure of revisionists who blatantly impose their immorality upon Christ’s precious church.

Certainly, we are in the end time when many in the Church are opposed to “…the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”

There are many who are still waiting upon God and strongly defending the authentic doctrines. We must keep praying for them as well as those who have backslided.

Our main fear has come to our reality, and that is, having these heretics at the highest rank and peak of the Church.

I still believe that our Lord Jesus Christ will build His Church, and “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16 :18).

This moment calls for prayer for the Church, those who teach, those who in its leadership ranks, those coming in, the political space and economic space.

As part of Christ’s predictions about the last days, He alluded to what would be a widespread breakdown of relationships: “And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. 11: And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12: And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold (Matt. 24:10–12). We have seen this in the preponderance of dysfunctional marriages and the ethical bankruptcy that has led to unimaginable acts of wickedness and betrayal by trusted relationships.

The natural response is to return hatred in the same coin, and jettison Christ’s teaching about love. We have seen instances of betrayal, unforgiveness, even by those who profess Christianity. Indeed, religious establishments and leaders having this mindset have carried on recklessly with platitudes that are devoid of the spirit of the Christian faith. That prophets are mentioned as part of the process of deception is frightening, but not strange anymore. So much scandal has rocked religious houses and frontliners that it is almost becoming normal. Those who wish to take themselves seriously wonder if there is still room for integrity. The Lord Jesus also alluded to lawlessness, which He said would increase. These days, state power is sometimes being used to cover up evil, and there is hardly a safe harbour for justice. This should not take us by surprise because the Lord Jesus already warned about it.

The effect of this state of things is clearly stated: “the love of many will grow cold.” What could this possibly mean? People who used to pattern their lives after the standards of love for God and for His people begin to change their minds and live by strange standards that they find convenient. Apostle Paul shed some light on this when he wrote, in 2 Timothy 3:1–5: “You should know this, Timothy that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2:

For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3: They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4: They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5: They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!”

The Lord Jesus further tells us what we must do to overcome times like the one described above, but the one who endures to the end will be saved. It is so easy to give up when things get tough and it becomes difficult to live by godly standards. He tells us to endure – not just for a time, but to the end if we will be saved.

There may be compromises all around us, but we must stick with the truth: learn the truth, hold on to our convictions and remain unshakable. It might involve prosecution, for Apostle Paul understood this when he wrote further in 2 Timothy 3:12 saying: “Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” That is why we must end this brief meditation with the words of the same Apostle Paul elsewhere: “Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good,” (Romans 12:21).

Thanks be to God who has taken us full circle and brought us to the beginning of another Liturgical Year: Advent.

Even though most people look to the Gregorian calendar to catch the excitement of a new beginning at the New Year, a good number of others have special times of the year in which they celebrate new beginnings such as birthdays, anniversaries and other religious calendars. For some Christian denominations, Advent begins the Liturgical Year when preparations are made for the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ: Christmas! It also looks forward to the necessary preparations for His promised return. How people choose to relate with Advent should not be a matter for much argument, but rather an opportunity for reflection, evaluation, amendment of life and re-visioning. It is an opportunity to assess our lives and set new goals for our walk with God and devotion to Him.

Let’s take a closer focus on one of the statements of the Lord Jesus Christ as He prepared His disciples for His exit and for the close of the age. The immediate setting for this verse we are looking at, was the disciples’ astonished question when Jesus made the shocking revelation that the beautiful Temple would be razed to the ground: “Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, ‘these things which you see — the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down,” (Luke 21:5-6).

Herod’s temple was the temple in use during the ministry of Jesus. Constructed by the wick Herod, the Great (37-4 BC), its construction details — both architectural and engineering were a display of genius. How could such a solid structure be brought down? This is where we must pause for meditation. We have had so many solid structures in different spheres of human endeavour through different generations right to our day. Some of these structures have become the foundations upon, which philosophies, worldviews, analyses, theories, among others, have been propounded and established.

We can further stretch it to include iconic personalities, and celebrities who command the limelight any day, anywhere. They are everywhere both in religion, media, business, sports, academia and science, among others. Whatever they say wins the day with cultic followership. Some benefits notwithstanding, the tragedy is also that some of these feats have moved men to tamper with unchangeable truths about God and His commandments for life. The gender confusion and controversies of our day were bizarre and unthinkable not long ago. The defiant posture now seems to be: how dare God tell us how to live?

In our passage in reference – Luke 21, the disciples asked some disturbing questions: “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?” (V7). The Lord Jesus went on to tell them about more disturbing things ahead and how they should respond (See verses 10-19).

History has unfolded some of these and some are still unfolding. They include things terrestrial — in the earthly sphere, while some are completely cosmic and extraterrestrial — despite man’s advance into space.

As we hear of wars and rumour of wars, and as we pass through times of stress, which the Lord Himself predicted so precisely and graphically— “men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken” — we must hold on to the hope of His return, which is also included in this passage of frightening predictions: “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” (v27). We must not allow any mindset to take this hope from us or to make us careless about doing something to secure our eternal destination through faith in Christ.

Advent, therefore, is the time to recall and heed the admonition of the Lord Jesus Himself as all these convulsions are on the increase: “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near,” (Luke 21:28).

[6] Encourage Discernment: Teach your audience how to discern truth from falsehood by emphasizing the importance of knowing the Bible and being led by the Holy Spirit.
[7] Highlight Trusted Voices: Share content from reputable pastors, theologians, and ministries known for sound doctrine. Promote correct teachings as much as you refute false ones.
[8] Moderate and Filter Discussions: On platforms where you manage or participate, monitor conversations and intervene when necessary. Use moderation tools to remove harmful content and encourage respectful dialogue.
[9] Private Correction (When Possible): If you know the individual spreading falsehoods, consider approaching them privately for a one-on-one discussion. This can be less confrontational and more effective in leading them toward truth.
[10] Pray and Seek God’s Guidance: Pray for wisdom in how to approach corrections and for the hearts of those misled to be receptive to truth. Rely on the Holy Spirit to guide your words and actions.

From his humble beginning at Ogberuru in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State, and through his 63 years on mother earth, he has passed through the ups and downs of this world. Indeed, but for the big God who is always by his side, he would have been long forgotten. Sampler: during his early pastoral duties at Kano in the Northern part of Nigeria, he had all his earthly possessions and that of his newly wedded wife destroyed by religious mobs. At another point, Boko Haram came calling. The terrorists invaded his residence with the sole aim of killing him and his beloved wife Angela. Again, God proved His awesome power and majesty as the bullets meant to terminate their lives whistled past them and they stayed alive to tell the story. Not only that, God renewed his strength and he saw himself jump over a wall-the height of which could qualify him to compete at the Olympics. Yet, his ordeal was not over.

Ten years ago, he suffered a life-threatening heart disease and was almost gone but for the big God, who, again, stood by his side to save and revive him. Many, indeed, are the sufferings of the righteous but the good Lord sees him through them all. Unknown to Ndukuba, the Lord was preparing him for the greater assignment of leading the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion.

His passion for evangelism across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria and the world over got him heavenly approval. He is a sound Biblical Scholar, Teacher, Master Liturgist, prolific writer, Pastor and an accomplished Evangelist. He loves the Lord Jesus Christ and has a great heart for the Word of God. Today, rural evangelism is spreading like bush fire. His vision of mission fields is gaining traction not only in Nigeria, Africa, but worldwide.

Looking back, our Primate will today be grateful to God as he sings Stanza 4 of the song titled: IN CHRIST ALONE;

“No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me. Life’s first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand Till He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand.”

Here now is an abridged version of the Life and Times of Primate Ndukuba:
Henry Chukudum Ndukuba was born on the 18th of July 1961, to Mr. and Mrs. Silas O. Ndukuba of Ogberuru in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State.

Both parents were Christian Missionary Society (now known as Anglican) school and church teachers in now Diocese of Orlu, (which happens to be Henry’s home diocese). Young Henry attended Bishop Shanahan College, Orlu, and wrote and passed his West African School Certificate Examination, WASCE, in 1978. While in secondary school, precisely in 1977, he gave his life to Jesus Christ as a teenager. This meant a brand-new beginning for him.

He started his working life in Kano State Library, Ministry of Education, where he was between 1977 and 1980. It was while in Kano that he received the call into the gospel ministry and was subsequently sent to the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN), Bukuru, where he was between 1980 and 1984 obtained his Bachelors of Divinity (B.D) degree. He did his mandatory one-year national service in Kano State (1984-1985).

He was ordained into the Holy Order diaconate in 1984, and priesthood 1985.
Ndukuba served in St Georges Anglican Church, Borupai, Kano, till he was sent to teach in St. Francis of Assisi Theological College, Wusasa, Zaria in 1985. He served in many capacities and headed the college as the acting Dean.In July 1996, he was moved back to be the Archdeacon of Kano and helped stabilize the diocese of Kano after some turbulent period.

His zeal for the Lord and love for mission was evident. In July 1999, he was requested to return as Dean of St. Francis College, Wusasa, but by September 1999, he was elected the Bishop of Gombe.

Nineteen years after, he was elected Archbishop of Jos Ecclesiastical province and presented January 12, 2018, and on 24th September 2019, he got elected by the Episcopal Synod as Primate of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion.

Ndukuba obtained a Masters of Arts degree (M.A) in Systematic Theology from Durham University, England, in 1990, and yet another M.A in Christian Education at the Princeton Theological Seminary, New Jersey, USA, in 1996. He distinguished himself as a scholar by winning the 1996 John Havran’s Princeton prize for Christian Education.

Henry Ndukuba is a servant of God and God’s people. He loves God and has received the grace to teach, preach and stand out as an evangelist and missioner. His Episcopacy has been a blessing to the church of God. He was the chairman of the liturgy and spirituality committee of the Church of Nigeria whose responsibility is to produce the Annual Bible study Manual, Daily Fountain Devotional, Sunday School Manual and Youth Devotional for the Church of Nigeria. His committee produced the New Book of Common Prayer and Hymnal for the Church of Nigeria.

He also serves as the chairman of the Church of Nigeria Historical Records and Artifacts Committee, a body charged with the responsibility of recording and preserving the historical records and artifacts of the Church and set up an Archives for the Church.

As the Bishop of Gombe, the Anglican Church has grown from 18 congregation to over 150 churches. God has blessed the Diocese through the humble service of faith of this servant of God and the pastors.

Church planting and evangelism, raising of lay and pastoral leadership and discipleship remain the core of his ministry. He works with communities and leaders of Gombe State to see to peaceful coexistence and community development. In order to sustain the ministry of the gospel in Gombe State, Archbishop Henry Ndukuba has worked with Luke Partnership, Nigeria Bible Translation Trust and Seed Company to produce literary materials and translate the Bible and Jesus film into 10 of the 17 tribal languages in the state.

He is the BOT Chairman of LIST, the registered body working on translation of Bible, Jesus Film and literary materials in Nigeria languages especially minority languages in Nigeria.

The work of ministry is ongoing for there are still many lands to conquer. The harvest is plentiful and the laborers are few but thanks be to the Lord of the harvest for with Him, all things are possible

Archbishop Henry is married to Mrs. Angela E. Ndukuba (Nee Okoro), an accomplished servant of God, Educationist and mother in God’s church. They are blessed with six children and grandchildren.

Understanding Tire Size
When buying tires, it’s important to understand that tires come in many different sizes. The correct tire size determine the tire’s performance and how suitable it is for your driving needs. It is recommended that you check your owner’s manual or ask one of our tire professionals to understand what size of tires are correct for your vehicle. The following information about your tire’s size and type may be found on its sidewall:
Type of Tire
The letter or letters at the beginning (or end) of this sequence will let you know the type of tire. These indicate what type of vehicle the tire is meant for. P, LT, ST, or T. Most tires will have the letter P, which is short for “P-metric” or a passenger car type tire. These are typically installed on passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, and vans.
An LT appearing at either the beginning or the end of the sequence indicates the tire is a “light truck” tire. This means the tire is designed to be used on vehicles that carry high loads or pull heavy trailers. ST indicates a “special trailer” tire, used on (you guessed it) – trailers, while “T” denotes a “temporary” tire, like a “donut spare” you might find in the trunk of your vehicle.
Tire Width
The first set of digits/numbers in the sequence is the section width of your tire. This is the tire’s width in millimeters across the tread area from sidewall to sidewall.
Aspect Ratio
Next you will find a slash and then another set of numbers: the aspect ratio, sometimes called the tire’s “profile”. This number is a percentage that indicates the tire’s height vs. its width. A lower aspect ratio often means a sportier, more performance – oriented tire.
On the other hand, a higher aspect ratio tends to indicate the tire was designed for other priorities like comfort or rugged durability.
Construction Type
Following the aspect ration, you will find a single letter, either a “D”, a “B”, or an “R” which indicates the construction type for the tire. “R” indicates that the tire is a Radial tire and “D” designates that it is a Diagonal (also known as “Bias”) ply tire and “B” means it is a Belted-Bias ply tire. Today, tires featuring Radial construction are by far the most common because of their superior fuel economy, traction, ride comfort and especially tread life when compared to earlier types of construction.
Rim Diameter
The following number in the set indicates the rim diameter — sometimes also noted as the wheel diameter. This measurement is almost always given in inches. Though there are exceptions, rim diameters ranging from 13” to 22” are most common for passenger vehicles in North America.
Service Description
Since 1991, all tires except the Z rating (discussed below) must have a service rating listed, as well. This is typically the final numbers and letter on your tire. The number indicates the tire’s load capacity. Usually called the tire’s load index, this is the maximum carrying capacity a tire can support.
This number is not the actual weight that a tire can carry, but rather, a number representative of the weight measured in pounds or kilograms. To better understand, here is a graphic:

The markings on your tyres are there to convey important information such as size and specifications, and secondly, to prove that your tyres have passed necessary safety standards.

Speed Rating
Load index and speed rating are found together at the end of the string of numbers and letters on your tire. There are a number of letters that might be on your tire beside the load index that will let you know the maximum speed your tire is rated for.
L rating is used for most boat and utility trailer tires. The speed rating for these is a maximum of 75mph M indicates the tire has been approved for speeds up to 87 mph (140 km/h).
N is approved for speeds up to 81 mph (130 km/h) under optimal conditions. These ratings are usually found on tires meant to be temporary, such a spare tires.
A P means the tire has been approved for speeds up to 93 mph (150 km/h) under optimal conditions. These tires are tested for safety in the perfect conditions, so the rating does not mean this speed is safe in severe weather or terrain unless otherwise indicated.

P tires are uncommon these days. Even tires with specialty function and performance such as winter tires and off-road tires typically achieve at least a Q speed rating.
Q tires are approved for speeds up to 99 mph (160 km/h), again, under optimal conditions. Tires toward the low end of the speed rating range often prioritize a particular function or unique performance over maximum speed rating. Some winter tires, for example, are Q speed rated.
R speed rating allows for speeds up to 106 mph (170 km/h). These tires also usually prioritize a particular function or unique performance over maximum speed capability. R speed tires are rare but sometimes may be found heavy-duty light truck (LT) tires, as well as some winter tires.
An S speed rating means the tire has been approved for speeds up to 112 mph (180 km/h). Everyday passenger vehicle tires can be S speed rated. However, S tires can also prioritize specific performance or function.

A T rating on a tire means that it is approved for speeds up to 118 mph (190 km/h) under optimal conditions. T ratings are most associated with standard touring tires, and everyday passenger vehicles like family sedans and minivans.
An H speed rating on a tire indicates the tire is approved for speeds up to 130 mph (210 km/h) under optimal conditions. An H speed rating is at the low end of the performance tire speed ratings. H speed rated tires are ideal for sport and luxury coupes and sedans that aren’t considered “full-fledged performance vehicles.” H speed ratings are common in the grand touring all-season tire category.
A V rating indicates the tire is approved for speeds up to 149 mph (240 km/h) under optimal conditions.
H and V tires are very comparable. Although V allows for greater speed, that is relatively insignificant in the U.S. where speed limits are strictly enforced.

Y rated tires have been tested at speeds up to, and in excess of, 186 mph (300 km/h) under optimal conditions. These are maximum performance rated tires. Show without a parenthesis around the Y, the tire is rated for a maximum of 186 mph (300 km/h). If the Y appears in parenthesis, the tire is rated for speeds above that.
A Z rating is unique in it’s location, as well as what it indicates. While a Z rating does mean that the tire has been approved for speeds of 149+ mph (240+ km/h), this rating is associated with maximum tire performance and is a match for performance coupes and sedans, sports cars, and supercars.

An exception to the location of speed rating is the Z rating, which pertains to only high-performance tires. You won’t find Z indicated within the service description as usual. Instead, the Z is integrated as part of the tire size information on high-performance tires.
