The National Population Commission on Friday, clarified, that the criticisms over the postponement of the 2023 Population and Housing Census, which was widely believed to be due to insufficient funds, was misinterpreted. The Commission explained that  contrary to such insinuations, the NPC postponed the census exercise to save Nigeria from a national crisis. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested 52 suspected internet fraudsters in Ogun State. According to the EFCC, which made this known on Twitter, the individuals were arrested for computer-related fraud by operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the antigraft agency. The victim identified simply as Charles was found dead in a bush in the Oguta Local Government Area of the state a few days ago. Robertson who died at age 93 made the Christian right a powerful political force and unsuccessfully ran for president in 1988, died on Thursday, CNN reported.
