Four people have sustained varying degrees of injuries after some gas cylinders exploded in the Ijaiye, Agege area of Lagos State. It was learned that the explosion occurred in the early hours of Monday in a shop stored with gas cylinders. The Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, while confirming the incident, said one of the gas cylinders exploded as a result of gas leakage and caught fire in the process. Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers abducted three persons and killed a chief in the Iwo community in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State.  It was gathered that the gunmen attacked a filling station at Sabaja town around 9 pm on Friday, June 23, 2023, and abducted the station manager, a security guard, and a pastor. According to Platforms Africa, his death was confirmed in a statement by the Dean, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies FCMS, Lagos State University, Professor Sunday Alawode, who described Oso’s death as a rude shock.
