Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Wednesday described the death of his Ondo State counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu, as tragic. Akeredolu succumbed to leukaemia in Lagos on Wednesday. The air component of Operation Delta Safe has destroyed six illegal oil refining sites in the Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State. The Illegal sites were said to be clustered within an approximately 80-meter radius, situated approximately 6 nautical miles south of Opu Arugbana. The Christian Association of Nigeria has condemned the Christmas day attacks on Plateau communities that left 96 persons dead and many houses set ablaze. It was mournful yuletide for many residents in Plateau  State   as dare devils  unleashed coordinated attacks on Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi local government areas of Plateau state, resulting in the deaths of at least 76 people.
