The presidential campaign councils of the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party have challenged the Department of State Services to get tough with plotters of the interim national government. The Niger State Judicial Service Commission has fired the Magistrate Court judge in Salka, Magama Local Government Area of the state, with immediate effect. A Boko Haram bomb maker, Awana Gaidam, has reportedly died after he stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device he made by himself. He was said to have planted the IED that killed him for the Nigerian troops in Borno State.
