In a power twist, the Federal Government commenced the payment of salary arrears to lecturers in the departments of Basic Medical Sciences, Basic Clinical Sciences and Medicine across some federal universities. The Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna, on the matter of the alleged fraud against a serving legislator from Katsina, has postponed hearing of the case and delivery of judgment to June 15 and 16 respectively.
