The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that nine persons were injured in a gas explosion on Saturday at a steel company in Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State. The explosion was reported to have occurred at Phoenix Steel Mills in Ogijo. The Special Adviser to the President on Energy, Mrs. Olu Veŕheijen, has said that the Federal Government reserves the right to pay fuel subsidy intermittently to cushion hardship in the country. Veŕheijen said this while briefing journalists in Abuja on Friday.
