The National Examination Council NECO, on Monday, revealed that 50,066 candidates representing 67.35 percent of the total number of candidates that sat for Senior School Certificate Examinations got five credits including Mathematics and English language. A group of bakers in the country, on Monday, kicked against the nationwide strike declared by some of their counterparts, starting on Tuesday. The Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria announced on February 14 that it is poised to begin a nationwide strike on February 27 unless the Federal Government honours the agreement made with the association in 2020. Scores of bandits have been killed as a result of a heavy fight between two rival groups around Hayin Alhaji and Munhaye forest in the Tsafe Local Government Area in Zamfara State.
