Burundi’s President Pierre Nkurunziza, aged 55, has died after suffering a cardiac arrest, the government says. He was admitted to hospital on Saturday after feeling unwell, his condition improved but on Monday he had a cardiac arrest and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, officials say. NO fewer than 80 cases of rape have been recorded in parts of Anambra State since the lockdown of the country occasioned by Coronavirus pandemic. The mother of Sam Okwaraji has died in Enugu. She was 83. Madam Janet Okwaraji’s death was yesterday confirmed by her eldest son, Patrick, who said she died ‘a few weeks ago’. According to him, the family would meet soon to decide on her funeral.
