The Akwa Ibom state governor, Udom Emmanuel has redeemed his pledge of $10,000 per goal for the matches against Cameroon to the Super Eagles while urging the three-time African champions to go all out for a win against Zambia on Saturday.

Governor Emmanuel has also promised the team they will be rewarded if they earn a sixth FIFA World Cup appearance by winning at the Godswill Akpapio Stadium, Uyo this weekend.

The governor said, “Am happy that we are not taking this for granted and have been monitoring the Zambians are extremely so serious about this game. It is as if they have never play football before that this game is like a do or die for them.

“They seek permission from us to bring in 400 supporters but I’m sure on Saturday you will see a whole of former governors coming just to support you (Eagles) because we value our national colours, we value the county the county that we come from.”

He, however, urged the team to be totally focused and play like soldiers.
